About me
Welcome to my website! How about a little introduction first?
PhD in Mechatronics Engineering from the University of Málaga (UMA) on the topic of AI-based multimodal perception for planetary exploration robotics. I also hold an MSc in Mechatronics Engineering and a BSc in Electronics, Robotics, and Mechatronics Engineering.
Currently a Research Associate at the SpaceR group within the Interdisciplinary Research Center for Security, Reliability, and Trust (SnT) at the University of Luxembourg. My research focuses on increasing the autonomy of lunar rovers through experiments in both simulations and the SpaceR lunar analogue facility (LunaLab).
In 2019, I began my professional career as a Firmware Engineer in the industry. In 2020, I joined the Space Robotics Laboratory at UMA as a researcher, where I contributed to cutting-edge advancements in robotics and perception systems to increase the autonomy of Martian rovers. In 2022, I expanded my expertise during a six-month research stay at the Planetary Robotics Laboratory at the European Space Research and Technology Centre (ESA-ESTEC).
