About me
Welcome to my website! How about a little introduction first?
I am currently doing a PhD in Mechatronics Engineering at the University of Málaga (UMA), Spain. Before it, I obtained a MSc in Mechatronics Engineering and I received a BSc in Electronics, Robotics and Mechatronics Engineering.
In 2019, I worked for over a year as a Firmware Engineer in industry while finishing my degree studies. The following year, I became a member of the Space Robotics Laboratory, where I started developing artificial vision algorithms as part of a collaboration agreement between the European Space Agency and the UMA.
At the moment, I am doing a research on machine learning techniques for the terramechanics prediction and environmental perception of off-road scenarios using different sensors such as thermal and stereo cameras.
